Proven Guilty - Jim Butcher Once again, a great installment to the Dresden Files series. I love how Harry keeps finding himself in such bizarre and interesting settings. First an adult film set, and now a horror movie convention. It just about blew my mind when I realized the phobophage he fights at one point of the book, the one he states he immediately recognized, was none other than the Alien.

Despite that, I am still not a fan of the Carpenter family. I've always found Michael and Charity annoying, and without giving any spoilers, I can't say I really liked the particular plot development at the end of the book. But I see it as more development to the Dresden character and world. It's cool to see how Harry initially began as a loner, but is slowly developing more friendships and surrounding himself with people he cares about as the series goes on.
